NATION'S CAPITAL - AUGUST 12 - BE THERE.

Are you HUMAN? - Or, aren't you?

If you are, then stand up for HUMANITY!

And while you're at it - let's TAKE BACK AMERICA!

This may be our last chance to salvage what's left of America before the world goes up in flames.

If you are SICK and TIRED of seeing our hard-earned money spent on corporate and Israeli wars and seeing babies blown to pieces with American-made bombs, then take a stand NOW - or forever share the blame!

Descend on DC, August 12th!
A coalition of Arab-American and U.S. peace groups will be holding a press conference on Thursday, July 27, to announce plans for a "MASSIVE NATIONAL EMERGENCY MARCH on Washington DC on Saturday, August 12 to PROTEST the U.S.-Israeli war against the people of Palestine and Lebanon."

"Buses and car caravans are being organized to bring people to Washington DC on August 12 from cities and towns throughout the United States," stated Brian Becker, National Coordinator of the ANSWER Coalition. The August 12 National March on Washington D.C. is initiated by ANSWER Coalition, National Council of Arab-Americans, and the Muslim American Society, Freedom Foundation.

The August 12 event will be the largest mobilization to date within the United States to oppose the latest U.S.-Israeli war drive against Lebanon and Gaza, according to the initiating organizations.

The press conference will discuss plans for August 12, the situation regarding rally and march permits, and outline a nationwide campaign to mobilize the U.S. antiwar movement, the Arab-American and Muslim community, and all people of conscience to oppose what the organizers call, "the criminal war that has already killed hundreds of civilians and displaced hundreds of thousands of people from their home.”

The press conference will also include direct eyewitness testimony from Dr. Mounzer Sleiman who has just returned from war-torn Lebanon. Dr. Sleiman is an independent analyst on national security affairs who appears frequently as a commentator on a number of Arab TV networks and radio outlets.
Speakers include:
  • Ramsey Clark, former U.S. Attorney General
  • Dr. Mounzer Sleiman, National Council of Arab Americans, Independent Military and Political Analyst who just returned from Lebanon
  • Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, Co-Founder Partnership for Civil Justice
  • Mahdi Bray, Director, Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation
  • Peta Lindsay, Howard University student, Youth and Student ANSWER Coalition
  • Brian Becker, National Coordinator, ANSWER Coalition
  • Rev. Graylan Hagler, Senior Pastor, Plymouth Congregational Church
It's time to get off-line and on-the-streets!

Let's show Congress - once and for all - that the United States of AMERICA draws its authority from THE PEOPLE - FOR THE PEOPLE - NOT for Corporations, and sure as HELL NOT for Israel!!!

Pink Floyd said it best

GOODBYE BLUE SKY

Look mummy, there’s an aeroplane up in the sky

Did you see the frightened ones?
Did you hear the falling bombs?
Did you ever wonder
Why we had to run for shelter
When the promise of a brave new world
Unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?

Did you see the frightened ones?
Did you hear the falling bombs?
The flames are all long gone
But the pain lingers on
Goodbye blue sky
Goodbye blue sky
Goodbye
Goodbye

Who among us hears their own bereavement?
Who hears the last train coming?
Who hears the final toll?
Not we, the breathing- but we sense him.
What sound will he have?
Where will he sleep?

Ask the arid wasteland spreading out like dead skin.
Ask the bloodstained footpaths if he beckons them.

May we ask our distant days if we might enter?
The universe, over the sky floating ghostly,
Might it hear our pleading?
Who hears the last bomb dropping?
Who hears the final click?
Who, if not the breathing?

Ask the sovereign and man-speckled ocean creature,
Ask the eagle if she senses man’s bridled undoing.

Who among us hears their own bereavement?
Who hears the last train coming?
Who hears the final toll?
Not we, the breathing- but we sense him.
What shape will he have?
Where is his weapon?

Nice post my friend! Most needed! Wish I could be there, but alas, I cannot. My spirit shall float among the peacemakers.

wow - you guys are poetic tonight!

I don't know why, in times of turmoil and horror, poetry is so moving.

You know, last night it dawned on me for the first time that the Quran is written in poems.

Why can't you come, poetryman?

I know digital spy is in Australia. But, Arkansas is not too far. Bring friends along. Make a field trip of it! We need everyone in America to show up!

This is another great blog. It is somewhat political but comes from a different perspective and can be very interesting.

Info Remains Key--Like Internet
(Mighty Thor, 26 July 06)

Yes comrades: this is great blog--and u know why?--'cause here u get most excellent LINKS. Ck Bill Benson's TheLawThatNeverWas.com. 16th and 17th Amendments, so-called, are actually amazing putrid hoaxes, like so much everything else, eh?--especially if u depend upon the great culture of lies and "Jews-media."

Note one thing Jews, and fellow subjectivist accomplices among gentiles (like Council on Foreign Relations, CFR; see TheNewAmerican.com), are ultimately weakest upon is honest apprehension of reality.

Jews and oligarchs depend upon dupes like "Judeo-Christians" exposited on Whtt.org and TruthTellers.org. Interesting thing is dupes fear too outright treason--and that's why "treason never prospers"--requires too much, ultimately unnatural, chutzpah, evidently.

CONCLUSION: Hence then the whole point and drama is in State capitals of USA to send REAL US Senators to convene and rout out the traitors. It may well require a most thoroughgoing Constantinian Christian Revolution--with a free internet it is possible. So JUST KEEP AT IT, knowing it (steadfast journalism with necessary analysis) will require continued, steady, good, and effective work and information for the people, the survivors of the Judeo-parasitic disease. Honest elections and death to the Fed. Thor

And sure as hell not for the big oil companies. Why aren't the sheeple in the streets? Too distracted perhaps? I can't see how.

re: undeniable

They don't care. Look at the global protests before the attack on Iraq, the public consensus in nearly all western nations that it was the wrong thing to do.
What is undeniable is that politicians don't govern based on what the people want! They do what they want, whenever they want, and to whomever they want.
It will be interesting to see just who John Howard gets a job with once he leaves parliament here.

Take back Amerika? What makes you think it ever belonged to anyone other than the pols? I don't see it.

So..."take it back" to install a new set of tax-collectors and war mongers?

No, I'll watch that parade from my cave. Write when it's over.

"Why does corruption in government always
surprise us? Why do we expect anything else from
it? Government is organized force. It takes our
wealth and makes war. And we think honest men
would do that work?" --Joseph Sobran
