Good News from the Fed

In their own words:
The economy has solid momentum despite an 'aberration' in the fourth quarter of 2005, but the big deficits being financed from overseas capital may be 'unsustainable,' a Federal Reserve official said.
This is supposed to be good news?

They MUST say economy is good--it's for war purposes, after all, "perpetual war for perp. peace."

Remember it's all matter of "consumer confidence" for topmost masterminds who will be quick to be most treacherous conspirators according to New Testament Conspiracy theory-analytic-template, my own discovery and application. Pls see NewNation.org under "commentary" heading, then ck "Apollonian," a really brilliant analyst. Thanks, Thor

"'So, by those basic measures, the US economy is doing quite well, and I believe it's also noteworthy that our economy has adjusted to the current period of rapid economic change in some new and surprising ways".

So another words your either making it or your not, and if your not tuff shit!

this is all going to end real bad. Fells like an episode of the shield...the drama the drama.

The Senate voted Thursday to allow the national debt to swell to nearly $9 trillion, preventing a first-ever default on U.S. Treasury notes.

Who in the name of god would invest in a US Treasury note that isn't worth the paper its written on?

Forget the dollar that is just a pretty picture with shit green ink, nothing more.

As Americans are doing their taxes in front of the April 15th deadline, it's unlikely that middle class America will see any silver lining in this supposed good news. The fact is, the people benefiting from Bush's America are the top 1-2% of the population and the big corporations, many of whom don't pay ANY taxes.

It doesn't matter what reports issue from the Fed, so long as Americans can't afford to go on vacation this summer because of rising gas prices or because they are no longer getting paid overtime thanks to Bush's labor dept. rules, then Bush (and the GOP) is in big trouble.

It takes an ideological alternative for people to wake up. Moneychangers have had a lead of 200 years in the UK, where people get by on less average real income than the US, houses are 2-3 times as expensive, and owning a home is a distant dream for most. Yet, people are very happy with their culture, ancestry and living standard, and they should be - they have a nice country, despite the economic oppression of the richest who own most real property in big cities.

Don't count on a US taxpayer revolt anytime in the next 200 years.

We're not really trapped in this economic dilemma.

If people would just refuse to serve and acknowledge this corrupt government and if the states pulled the charters of corporations and replace them with worker owned companies, nationalize, like Chavez, those industries that use the natural resources which are rightfully owned by a nations citizens, and not private interest, we wouldn't be at the mercy of these anti social criminals. We should elect working people to our state legislatures who would reject these illegal federal powers and should call for abdicating any responsibility for the central government federal debt. It would be the beginning of a new egalitarian movement of the states against the gangsters in Washington.

There is a way to have honest elections (I won't go into it here). Every citizen should be required to vote, period. A fine should be issued to those who do not. Many countries have this law. A three day summer festival/celebration would allow people to discuss, with friends, neighbors and strangers, the politics of the issues before them.

There is no longer a constitutional government, a social contract, domestic (state) and national security for which the people have the right to expect from its government. All agreements with the federal government can be considered and made void thru state constitutional conventions reestablishing a weak and decentralized federal government. The history of the American people has been a struggle against these very people and their ideology of "savage capitalism" since the birth of this nation. They can't be trusted and are responsible for our decline and the decline of lesser nation states. The Fed is the "piggy bank" that these vipers illegally use to steal the fruits of our labor.

The ruling class has come home to roost. They have revealed themselves as the con men that history has rightly designated them to be, that is, corrupt, megalomaniacs and a danger to the security of the overwhelming general population. They can no longer be allowed to rape the populations of the world of their inalienable rights bestowed upon us by out creator, that is the necessities of food, clothing and shelter by the fruits of our labor and self governance.

Stop all immigration and review immigrants right to stay. They are sadly the bi-product of IMF and World Bank failed policies (or perhaps successful ploys) that have destabilized almost every third world nation and have now destroyed ours. They have flooded western Europe and the US with immigrants to destabilize western societies to weaken citizens political and economic control of their governments. Almost every foreign born citizen when asked if their home land was stable would they go back. An absolute yes was their answer. An it stands to reason that people identify with their own cultures, contrary to the myth of America being the end all place to be.

Now is the time for all good men and women to come to the aid of their children's country. Capitalist colonialism and imperialism must die. These people shit where we eat. Working people do not.

Citizen Slave, I am with you all the way. Is there a group that you know of that already stands for these ideals?

qrewave and anonymous,

Thank you.

I'm working on a book focusing on some of these issues and propose the decentralization of the federal government that I've alluded too in my last post.

Everyone I've spoken to , whether Republican, Democrates, socialist and even anarchist, have either called me by phone or stopped me in the street to ask me "...can you explain that to me again?"

People don't know the power they really have. They need to be able to unravel the corporate mess we call government.

We have to demystify economics and politics by way of common sense.

The child of economics is politics,
the child of faith is social justice.

citizen slave, great! I look forward to reading it. Please, keep us posted.

Thanks everyone for joining the discussion. Your input is valuable and greatly appreciated.

I think you're very right, citizen slave, people just don't realize how much power they have. Together, we can help them find out.

Excellent work qrswave: look what u've done--gone and attracted another theorist ("citizen-slave")-abstrationalistic. Thus with such abstractions we can begin to organize the perceptions given by ur excellent blog-journalism. Keep up all ur good work. Thor

qrswave,

Iraq vets are going to present themselves on the Washington Capital lawn on April 25 to call the government liars for the reason's we and they went to war and demand that the medical needs of the returning Iraqi troops be met.

This could be a galvanizing event for all the different interest groups who want this government gone and criminally prosecuted for their lie's and treason against the American and Iraqi people.

For the government to see that peace advocates, workers, students, active military, American Arabs, Jews, Christians, Latino's, African Americans, Asians, middle class, gay and lesbian community, doctors, high ranking military officers, labor, police and government employees, Poets, writers, mothers and fathers who lost son's, Vietnam era vets, Korean vets, all together behind these lied too blameless young men and women, would certainly send a thundering message to this government "We are all united against you!"

Help get the word out. The government probably doesn't think its citizens are concerned about these young people returning to their families, friends and communities. Let's shock the hell out of them!

Common Good, that's a fabulous idea! I am all for it. But, why April 25th?

Is that a holiday? I was planning on going on the 4th of July. I think that we would have a better chance of getting everyone out there on the 4th.

Is there any way they would reconsider the date?
