Under Public Pressure, Saudis Threaten Regional War
The king of Saudi Arabia threatened that regional war would take the place of the 'peace processes' of the past.
Being stranded on the wrong foot for the past two weeks, this is brilliant strategy to counter the three problems the Saudis have: the opinion on the street, militants (al-Qaida) and Iran and the rise of Shi'ite power.
"Saudi Arabia warns everybody that if the peace option fails because of Israeli arrogance, there will be no other option but war," state-owned media quoted the king as saying. . . .Unknown to the world is the de-facto nuclear alliance between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The latter's generous assistance and free oil to Pakistan during the nuclear-test sanctions are not unnoticed. Nor is the ritual visit by every politician to Umrah and the Saudi capital, and the numerous private visits by the Saudi leaders to Pakistan.
"No one can predict what will happen if things get out of control," said the statement from the king, who was due to hold talks with Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak later on Tuesday.
. . . "The Arabs have declared peace as a strategic choice ... and put forward a clear and fair proposal of land for peace and have ignored (Arab) extremist calls opposing the peace proposal... but patience cannot last forever."
This was the logical end of this confrontation. I can't predict where it will go from here, but there is nothing quite like Israel to unite the Muslim nations. Ahmedinejad had a point when he said 'Israel has just pushed the self-destruct button'.
Also, Hizbullah's guerrilla tactics have proven that Israel is not invincible. The only problem was nukes, and in a hypothetical war-games scenario, it takes three to take out Israel, and about 20 to seriously dent Pakistan. Of course, nukes are not to be used, it is just the calculus is used to pressure the adversary.
This should also lead to Musharraf actually cozying up to Osama, and probably an under-the-table reconciliation between Osama and the Saudis, brokered by rich Gulf businessmen.
There you go: a possible scenario from me. However, war is a throw of the dice, and the outcome is as unpredictable as ever. But, credit to Condi Rice, the Middle East is not the same any more: the rules have changed. Well, the other side gets to play too, don't they?

Bin Laden's obituary was reported in Egyptian media circa December 2001. Everything that's been released since then is a product of voice synthesis and video synthesis technology.
It's no coincidence that the administration gets wind of these 'tapes' before even the media does. Plus most of the 'Islamist' websites are actually hosted on servers in Western nations.
If Forrest Gump can moon a dead president Kennedy, Bin Laden can definitely speak from beyond the grave to save his old business partner Dubya.
Yep, this will definitely lead to the Third World War.
But I'm beginning to wonder if indeed "Israel" has outlived it's usefulness to the "Powers that be." Clearly, Egypt, the Saudis and other Arabs (sans Palestinians) get almost as much military aid as Israel does. I'm almost certain once these dogs are unleashed, the Zionist regime will be no more. Will the "Jews" be blamed when the eventuality of this war is finally realized? I'm thinking along the lines of "final solutions" here. This is a very disturbing scenario in that there would be world wide anti Jewish fury.
But not only that. The last world war, should it get out of hand, would most definitely have the Zionist state, in an act of desperation, targeting Europeans and maybe even Russia Iran’s ally? Who really knows how really ugly this can get. But ugly it will get because that's been the plan all along.

GHOST of Osama = CIA
Does Bush ever go around kissing Israeli PM's? How come when the Saudi King comes to the US, he is kissed by Bush?
I do believe Osama expired in December of '01. However, his image is still "out there" and the perception backed up by the US propaganda mechanism pretty much solidifies the fact that Osama's reality is still an option for the rest of the Muslim world.
Some interesting quotes...
"Barbarians are urged by the love of war; the citizens of a free republic may be prompted by a principle of duty; the
subjects, or at least the nobles, of a monarchy, are animated by a sentiment of honor; but the timid and luxurious inhabitants of a declining empire must be allured into the service by the hopes of profit, or compelled by the dread of punishment." Edward Gibbon, The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Volume II, Chapter XVII
"Moderation is a virtue only in those who are thought to have an alternative."
"If you don't know where you are going, every road will get you nowhere."
"The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer." quoted in "Kiss the Boys Goodbye: How the United States Betrayed Its Own POW's in Vietnam"
"In the process we lost sight of one of the cardinal maxims of guerrilla war: the guerrilla wins if he does not lose. The conventional army loses if it does not win."
"The Vietnam Negotiations", Foreign Affairs, Vol. 48, No. 2 (January 1969), p. 214
Due to a tear in the space time continium we are brought into a parellel universe not to disimilar to present day earth.
[Cue Start Trek theme....]
...this is the voyage of the star trek: corporate enterprise robbery, our mission to seek out new oilfields, new bases new ways to steal to boldley go where no neocon has gone before.....
Captains [G.Bush's] log, stardate 2006.2506.
We are orbiting aimlessly around earth.Things are not looking too good today. The latest neocon experiment in iraq is a disaster and lets not mention afganistan. To make matters worse the isreallycrazy folks have decided to have a little party in lebanon.
Lt Condi is on an away mission to Isreallycrazyland [and stocking up on new shoes/dresses on a 3 month stopover in paris and milan]. We are also sending a away security team on a peace mission but with phasers set to kill.
Cmdr Cheney got a bit cross waiting for her and fired a few photon torpedoes at the russians. Also managed to accidently shot his phaser at my attorney, fortuanetly it was set to stun. The federation media are going to have a field with his latest blooper. I really must have a word with him.Still at least nothing can go wrong with this big box of pretzels that Lt Cmdr Rumsfeld
kindly gave to me [mmmm strange that he remembered my birthday this year, mmm they're nice,
hmmm arghhh i feel a bit faint
[slumps onto floor] .......
[Cue end music and credits]
According to my calculation, the US thinks they know enough about the Pak nukes, but considering recent US intelligence failures, they have been emboldened.
Pak-US relations are like Turkey-US relations - with the militaries. As long as military man is in power, they are content. Also, Pak-US relations are very rocky - never smooth like Turkey.
US is itching to try its mini-nukes on the first country that enters the fray , Iran or Syria. They have already established with the US public that they can use mini-nukes against 'WMDs' whatever that is supposed to mean.
US and Israel are also itching to re-establish the aura of invincibility that they've lost in Iraq and Afghanistan. The style would be 'shock and awe'.
The only way for Pak,Saudi or Iran to strike a counter-blow would be through the Islamist militias, as they lack air defences and missile shields. Hence the reconciliation.
Regarding Osama, I don't think he is dead. Even if he is, it is an 'unknow unknown' that cannot be brought into the analysis (sorry, Rumsfeld). Even if his dead, Zawahiri and other are just as lethal.
Either Israel will go for a stalemate, or this is part of something bigger.
With a mini-nuke strike, US establishes the precedent of attacking a non-nuclear country with nukes (to save lives from WMDs of course ;)) and the PNAC is implemented in a day.
A successful counter-strike would lead to a world government replacing the UN. I have run some game-theory simulations, and there should only be one exchange, for both side's misconceptions are removed.
ALL FUCKING SAND NIGGERS MUST FUCKING HANG.
-Anonymous- you are a fool. All fools will trip and fall in a deep pit never to be heard from again.
Bye bye ZION, you're "pushing" the envelope.
If you want WAR, the ENTIRE WORLD IS READY TO STAND UP TO YOU! (except UK, USA, Australia)
Bye, bye,
sweet dreams
If the vast majority of 9/11 hijackers were Saudis and Osama is from a prominent Saudi family and the Saudis are profiting the most from the Iraqi war/ oil price crunch, why is this considered a religous crusade?
