Every 2 Seconds A Child Dies of Starvation, But Who Cares, Let's All Obsess Over 911!
Every two seconds a child dies of starvation. Everyday 40000 children die of starvation (http://www.drba.org/dharma/veggie/vegconsider.asp). But instead of taking a day to worry about these children, lets all obsess over 2819 people from 911.
Many of these deaths due to starvation are due to corporate terrorism. Developing countries being charged so much interest for projects, that they ended up poorer and worse of then they would have if they received no loans. They are also due to resources being sent from this countries to evil, selfish America. For example these statistics show how idiot America's excessive consumption leads to some of these 40000 deaths everyday. "Amount of meat imported annually by U.S. from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras and Panama: 200 million pounds. Amount of meat eaten by average person in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras and Panama: Less than the average American housecat consumes"(http://www.drba.org/dharma/veggie/vegconsider.asp). (Note citisucks is a vegetarian)
In addition to selfishness and greed their is of course also racism. Most of the people that died in 911 were rich and white. Almost all of the children that die everyday as victims of the corporate terrorists are non-white and poor. Yet idiot america was suckered into giving millions?billions? to rich bimbo housewives who went and wasted all their money on shopping sprees, while meanwhile even more children starved to death who could have actually used this money for food that would have saved their lives.
It is no wonder the world hates us. We are murdering 40000 children a day with our selfishness, greed, racism, evil and support of the corporate terrorists!

I understand how you feel - wanting to draw more attention to the plight of starving children, who no doubt deserve our attention.
But, I don't think that the obsession with 9/11 is as much over the number of people killed as it is over the treachery and deception surrounding it.
Of course, the fact that almost 3000 people were killed is a travesty - even if it pales in comparison to the numbers of people that die from other injustices.
HUman lives should not be quantified in numbers. One innocent person's death should make the entire world shake in anger.
In agreement with qrs, it is not the number of people who died on 9/11 at the core of everything. If you want to talk about the number of lives lost on 9/11 then maybe you are opposed to the evidence that states that the events on 9/11 were part of what took us to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Now how many people do you think have died as a result of recent activity in those 2 countries? How many kids specifically? How many kids do you think are starving as a result of us giving bombs to Israel to drop on Lebanon?
In comparison, do you think that the people who were trying to stop Stalin were sitting around saying wait, what are we doing trying to depose a ruthless leader when there are children starving?
All of the terrible things in the world hurt me. But if you are asking me to ignore government corruption and not spend ANY time at all on it because every moment I spend on that could be spent on saving a starving child's life, then you are telling me to mop up the blood and ignore the wound. I hate that there is rape, starvation, murder, hate, all of that. But do you honestly not think things would be better if we tried to fix the god damn problem for once instead of treating the smyptoms?
If every person involved in the movment to correct the issues surrounding 9/11 stopped and took every moment from that effort and spent it to get food sent to starving kids then yes we can save some lives. But have you noticed how the starving child issue is an onGOING issue? Have you noticed that countries are spending ridiculous amounts of money on completely wasted? We've spent 100s of $billions on completely wasted military operations as a result of 9/11. Instead of spending all of that money to blow up Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Lebanon, we could have been feeding kids. We could have been fixing the communities those kids live in so that they could supply their OWN food instead of us constantly supplying areas that don't EVER seem to become self sufficient.
Also, I have had it with this racist bullshit about ME being the worst person on the planet. I am white, male, and american. I'm tired of hearing that *I* am the problem. I'm tired of hearing that I should feel guilty because I'm a white male american. It wouldn't matter where I was from, what race I was or any of that crap. All that matters is what's in my head. Fuck every person who thinks I'm responsible for anything that I haven't done. I'm trying to fix things not make them worse. All you people who go on and on about your racist nationalist bullshit don't realize that YOU are being racist. You are sowing cultural division. That mindset sends you into seriously polluted territory where you will never have clear thoughts. It has become very stylish for people to go on and on about how white americans are the cause of everything and evil and all of that crap. Are you people so incredibly blind as to why you are bleating that ignorance? Criticizing any race, even one that is in the majority in some areas, is just as racist as criticizing any other race. So STFU.
Spending millions and billions of dollars to kill innocent people around the world, as children go hungry?
Sometimes I'm ashamed to be an American. My country once stood for great things, but Bush is slowly draining every good thing this country was founded on. And many Americans are too absorbed in shallow lives to really care. Only a few out there are truly awake to what is going on in the world and in America.
These are the true patriots, who have come out against the US government, and stand by their country and not their president when he does wrong.
Thank God some people are awake, including The Truth Will Set You Free team.
