President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has referred to Iran's large-scale cooperation with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and has noted: “A few claims against Iran are not legally valid."
On Wednesday night, in an interview with a Dutch TV Network, President Ahmadinejad said: “The allegations about Iran's nuclear issue are politically motivated and have taken place under the pressures of a few bullying states.
President pointed out: “ The atomic bomb is the most inhuman weapon that mankind has built throughout the course of history and underlined that Iran seeks global disarmament and believes that the atomic bomb is a weapon of mass destruction and has no efficiency, and only mounts tensions.
President criticized IAEA and said that if Iran was a permanent member of United Nations Security Council (UNSC), IAEA would not have presented a report on its nuclear activities. For this reason, US nuclear installations have not been even inspected once, although the US possesses several thousands of bombs.
President underscored: “IAEA chief presents a few claims against Iran under the pressure of US administration, without any documents and evidence. Therefore these claims are only considered as a political viewpoint and are not legally valid.
President said that IAEA has failed to fulfill its duties, while adding that following the establishment of IAEA a few states that were supported by a UNSC member state possessed atomic weapons.
In further remarks, President noted that IAEA presented six major questions for Iran and Iran responded to all of these questions, while the IAEA officially confirmed this fact.
Furthermore, President Ahmadinejad referred to Israel's unchecked nuclear arsenal and IAEA indifference toward the necessity of provision of Tehran reactor's needed fuel for medical purposes and to meet the needs of 800,000 patients.
President went on to remind that the Iranian thoughts are humane and opposed to domineering, colonialism, war, and invasion, which are not compatible to the policies of a number of bullying and hegemonic powers and in fact the hegemonic powers want to easily occupy Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, and even Middle East without anyone saying a word.
