Ford intends to cut 4000 white-collar jobs in 2006.

Hmmm. Let's see. Sounds familiar.

GM's at the brink;

Disney's consumer profits are sluggish;

the Tribune and others are looking to cut costs;

veterans can't find work;

Wallace & Gromit are just not performing stateside.

Heck, even the government has to cut costs!

All are suffering similar financial woes.
