GM plans to cut 30,000 jobs in '06

Ford to cut 4000 white-collar jobs in '06;

Disney's consumer profits are sluggish;

The Tribune and others are looking to cut costs;

Veterans can't find work;

Wallace & Gromit are just not performing stateside.

Heck, even the government has to cut costs!

All are suffering similar financial woes.

I wonder WHY?
