Don't let them fool you - ISRAEL STARTED IT

Ever since the bloody carnage in Lebanon started, the mainstream media has echoed Israel's self-righteous indignation about how they're merely defending themselves - "Israeli sovereignty was violated" when Hizbullah "kidnapped" their soldiers from "across the border."

What they conveniently reverse is that Hizbullah confronted Israeli troops on the LEBANESE SIDE OF BORDER.
It all started on July 12 when Israel troops were ambushed on LEBANON'S SIDE OF THE BORDER with Israel. Hezbollah, which commands the Lebanese south, immediately seized on their crossing. They arrested two Israeli soldiers, killed eight Israelis and wounded over 20 in attacks inside Israeli territory. [AsiaTimes.com]

* * *

Ehud Olmert holds "Lebanon responsible for the fate of the missing soldiers," who were captured near Aita al-Shaab on the LEBANESE SIDE OF THE BORDER, that is to say the soldiers violated the sovereignty of Lebanon, a COMMON OCCURRENCE. [Kurt Nimmo]
Even Israeli News reported it on the 12th, contemporaneously with the incident.

The Hizbullah said its operatives destroyed an Israeli tank attempting to cross the border into Lebanon.

Israeli ground troops entered southern Lebanon on Wednesday to search for two soldiers captured earlier in the day by Hezbollah. (AP)

That might well be true......If so, all the better.....My only concern now is, will Israel FINISH IT, by completely destroying their enemy as in the Biblical days of old when King David's forces annihilated their enemies!

Or maybe the Muslims will finish it, and retake Jerusalem, as Saladin's forces did in medieval days of old!
The Arabs in Palestine have a richer culture and history than the Jews. Palestine has been occupied by the Zionists fo some 60 years now, but Muslims controlled it for most of the previous 1400 years.
The Zionists underestimate the courage and determination of the Arabs - they may someday find a way to overcome their oppressor. Without US support, Israel would have never won its battles. Maybe someday we'll awake from our slumber in America and realize it is in our best interests to support the Arabs instead!

Something bloggers have missed---recall the killings of the past president of Lebanon last year and Syria was forced to leave. ODD THING--with Syria's presence--Lebanon became wealthy, prosperous.Syria's army was a check on the Jews invading. Like most greedy people--they ousted the Syrians. The fools didn't know that the X-President's killing was done by MOSSAD. Just like ARfats murder--the Jews did it.
For the poster that suggests Israel's death coming--forget it--they will take us with them .-Nukes!
For ages, the Jews have been forced into the middle-east--for the UK/USA to have a permanent foothold in the middle-east -
Middle east will never have peace until all the black gold is gone---Israel then will disappear-hopefully back in Russia.

This is the nugget I've been searching for. Up to now, I had merely wondered what the israelis were doing so close to Lebanon's border.

Of course, given their recent aggression, why would Lebanon assume their actions to be benign?

wow...WOW...this is a staggering piece and exposes the entire spin a large part of MSM has evidently been spewing. Ive been trying to get a grasp on what has been going, staying as objective as I could, but I recently read an article, I think it was on infowars.com (you can use their search if they have one) revealing israeli documents planning the invasion of iraq, iran, syria and lebanon and having them partitioned to avoid them being robust states able to defend their own interests and those of the Palestinians. A picture is starting to emerge now, and Im starting to see the neocons as having a very "special" role in doing the bidding of this plan...this is getting scary...screaming emergency kind-of-scary...

Take a look at this:

A Hezbollah official in southern Lebanon said the guerillas were “retaliating” after Israeli forces shelled several villages near the border. There were no any immediate reports of casualties.

Witnesses in southern Lebanon said the bombings were still continuing one hour after the clash began.

Al-Manar, the TV station of the Hezbollah guerrilla group, reported that Israeli artillery was pounding the fringes of the villages of Aita el-Shaab, Ramieh and Yaroun in the hills east of the coastal border port of Naqoura.

Also, check this out:

The International Federation of Journalists Friday condemned the Israeli bombing of the Lebanese broadcaster Al-Manar, warning that the attack follows a pattern of media targeting that threatens the lives of media staff, violates international law and endorses the use of violence to stifle dissident media.

"The bombing of Al-Manar is a clear demonstration that Israel has a policy of using violence to silence media it does not agree with," said IFJ General Secretary Aidan White.

"This action means media can become routine targets in every conflict. It is a strategy that spells catastrophe for press freedom and should never be endorsed by a government that calls itself democratic."
Israeli helicopters fired a missile at the headquarters of Al-Manar in the Beirut suburb of Haret Hreik, wounding seven people, including a television employee. Israeli aircraft later attacked an Al-Manar transmission tower south of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon, witnesses said .

"The concern here is that when one side decides to take out a media organization because they regard its message as propaganda, then all media are at risk," said White.

"In conflict situations, unarmed journalists cannot be treated as combatants, irrespective of their political affiliations." The Brussels-based IFJ represents over 500,000 journalists in more than 110 countries.

Hmmm... I guess Israel wants to make sure that its perspective and its perspective only are the ones people have access to?

I just hope to hell there are as little innocent casualties as possible in all this and I mean that with sincerity. Life is hard enough under normal circumstances. I don't care if you are lebanese, an Israeli, or from Palestine; it always seems people with too many ego's and a pile of guns backed with their own personal God with the intention of starting a war create a bunch of shit and before you know it an horrific amount of innocent people are injured or killed while the ones firing all the bombs are safe in their bunkers trying to figure ways to send a bigger bomb back to prove how big of a dick their religion has. I'm sure the background history of all sides will believe they've got justification to do what they are doing, but my honest opinion is that I think after everyone dies trying to protect land that 1000 years from now probably won't have the same significance, they'll all wonder what the hell it was all about and why, while they were living, chose to hate so much, chose to take away life rather than protect it, and Mohammad along with Allah and Abraham along with Jehovah surely can't be proud with what their people are doing in their name. I'd hate to think otherwise!

1. Are you aware that the Disputed Territories never belonged to the “Palestinians” and only came into Israeli possession as a result of the 1967 six day war in which Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon all massed forces at Israel’s border in order to “push the Jews into the sea”. The Arabs lost and Israel took control of the land. Do you agree that if the Koranimals don’t want to lose territory to Israel, then they shouldn’t start wars? Do you agree that there is justice that Israel, who as far back as 1948 has always sought peace with her far larger neighbors, should live in prosperity - making the desert bloom - while the residents of 19 adjacent Arab countries who are blessed with far more land as well as oil wealth live in their own feces?

2. Did you know that the “Palestinians” could have had their own country as far back as 1948 had they accepted the UN sponsored partition plan which gave Israel AND the Palestinians a countries of their own on land which Jews had lived on for thousands of years before Mohammed ever had a wet dream about virgins? The Arabs rejected the UN offer and went to war with the infant Israeli nation. The Arabs lost and have been whining about it ever since. Do you agree this is like a murderer who kills his parents and asks for special treatment since he is now an orphan?

3. Can you tell us ANY Arab country which offers Jews the right to be citizens, vote, own property, businesses, be a part of the government or have ANY of the rights which Israeli Arabs enjoy? Any Arab country which gives those rights to Christians? How about to other Arabs? Wouldn’t you just LOVE to be a citizen of Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Iran, or Syria?

4. Since as many Jews (approximately 850,000) were kicked out of Arab countries as were Arabs who left present day Israel (despite being literally begged to stay), why should Arabs be permitted to return to Israel if Jews aren’t allowed to set foot in Arab countries? Can you explain why Arabs can worship freely in Israel but Jews would certainly be hung from street lamps after having their intestines devoured by an Arab mob if they so much as entered an Arab country?

5. Israel resettled and absorbed all of the Jews from Arab countries who wished to become Israelis. Why haven’t any Arab countries offered to resettle Arabs who were displaced from Israel, leaving them to rot for 60 years in squalid refugee camps? And why are those refugee camps still there? Could it be that the billions of dollars that the UNWRA has sent there goes to terrorist groups like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, El Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, or Hezbollah? How did Yassir Arafat achieve his $300 million in wealth? Why aren’t these funds distributed for humanitarian use?

6. Did you know that the Arabs in the disputed territories (conquered by Israel in the 1967 war which was started by Arabs) and who are not Israelis already have two countries right now? And that they are called Egypt and Jordan?

7. If your complaint is about the security fence which Israel is finally building in the Disputed Territories, are you aware that it is built solely to keep the “brave” Arab terrorists out so that they can no longer self detonate on busses, in dining halls or pizzerias and kill Jewish grandmothers and schoolchildren? Why are the Arabs so brave when they target unarmed civilians but even when they outnumber their opponents they get their sandy asses kicked all the way to Mecca when they are faced with Jewish soldiers? Why do Arab soldiers make the French look like super heroes?

8. Please explain why you are so concerned about Arabs, who possess 99% of the land in this region and are in control of the world’s greatest natural resource, which literally flows out of the ground? Can’t their brother muslims offer some of the surplus land and nature’s riches to the “Palestinians”? Or is it true that Arabs are willing to die right down to the last “Palestinian”?

9. Why do you not exhibit the same level of concern for say, people in Saudi Arabia who are beheaded, subject to amputation, stoning, honor killing etc.? What about women who are denied any semblance of basic civil rights, including the right not to be treated as property for the entertainment and abuse of her father, brothers, or husbands? What about the Muslims in Sudan and Egypt who are still enslaved, or the women there whose genitalia are barbarically cut off? How about the oppression of Shiites by Sunnis, the gassing of the Kurds by Iraq, or the massacre of “Palestinians” by Jordan (Black September)? Why doesn’t this concern you?

10. Did you ever stop to wonder how much better off everyone in the region would be if Arabs stopped trying to kill Jews and destroy Israel? What would happen if the Israelis gave up their weapons and disarmed? Would they live to see the next day? But what would happen if the Arabs completely disarmed? You know the answer: They would all be AT PEACE! And if there is no war to rile them up, the Arabs would be forced to look at their own repressive, pre-medieval societies. Why would they want to do that when there are Jews to kill?

11. Have you heard “People who define themselves primarily by what they hate, rather than who they love, are doomed to failure and misery”? Can you see the parallels to the Arabs, who are blessed with land and oil, but still gladly train their children to kill themselves in order to kill Jews? Have you heard Golda Meir’s words to the effect of “There will be peace when the Arabs love their children more than they hate ours”? Why do the Arabs hate so much?

I cover the Middle East daily for INN World Report, an independent TV news show that broadcasts across the U.S on Dish TV Channel 9415 and Time Warner Cable. We also stream at www.innworldreport.net.

This is the tip I just sent into Wake UP -- I hope they put it in the body of the blog but if they don't here it is:

Yesterday (Friday, July 14, 2006) INN World Report had on British journalist Jonathan Cook, author of "Blood and Religion: The Unmasking of the Jewish and Democratic State." Cook lives in Israel and is very well-informed. Anyway, he alerted us to a small news item from the June 25th edition of the U.K. Guardian. Here it is with the URL:

The British Guardian reported on June 25, 2006: “Israeli forces have detained two Palestinians, who the army said were Hamas militants, in the Gaza Strip, in what observers said was the first arrest raid in the territory since Israel pulled out of the area a year ago.”

The Israeli soldier Cpl Gilad Shalit was abducted on June 25. Get it? Israel went into Gaza and arrested two suspected Hamas militants THE DAY BEFORE GILAD SHALIT WAS CAPTURED. Now who's talking about violating sovereignty?

Not to mention that Ha'aretz initially reported that Israel had planned the abduction of the Hamas government JUST AFTER THE ELECTION IN JANUARY, then switched the story to a few weeks before Shalit's capture -- either way Israel had this plan well in advance of Shalit's capture.

Two other things to note:

- according to the Israeli papers the IDF knew tunnels were being built in Gaza so one would venture to guess that an efficient military would have been planning for something along the lines of a possible fight and looking for *militants* to pop their little heads out of the ground.

- The second is that Israeli papers last week, after the *capture* of the Israeli soldiers by Hizbullah, said that Israeli military intelligence had been warning about just this possibility for a very long time but their warnings weren't heeded -- convenient, huh? Kind of like, oh, September 11.

You can also let your readers know that on Wednesday and Thursday of last week (July 12 and 13) INN World Report had a very exclusive and rare interview with Professor John Mearsheimer, co-author of "The Israel Lobby & U.S. Foreign Policy" -- it's one of very few interview either Mearsheimer or Dean Stephen Walt have given despite the shockwaves created by their paper.

Your readers can watch all this streamed at our site by just clicking on the day's show. The interviews are at the end but we are going to set them up in their own boxes because they have been so popular.

Hope all this info helps-- I fear we have very little time and almost no chance of averting the real "War to End All Wars."

Every single attack against Israel is an attack against a valid military target. Any collateral damage to children or civilians (less than 20% of the adult population of Israel) is entirely the responsibility of the IDF, which chooses to use the civilians and their infrastructure as human shields.

Every Israeli adult between 18 and 50, save for a tiny ultra-orthodox minority and the downpressed Israeli Arabs, is an active duty or reserve soldier or member of one of Israel's "intelligence" services. Soldiers and agents are valid military targets in any conflict.

The IDF uses the Israeli bus system to augment its own transport system. At any given time, there is at least one uniformed soldier on any Israeli bus. This makes every single Israeli bus a valid military target the same as Nazi trains were valid targets for the swarms of roaming American Thunderbolts and Lightnings during WWII.

This decision to militarize their society has made the entire country of Israel a valid military target. Israeli cities aren't innocent civilian centers, but are instead the barracks of their reserve army. Hit any Israeli target and you're bound to hit a soldier, which makes the attack automatically valid and puts all civilian casualties on the shoulders of the soldier, who chose to shield himself amongst them.

Don't be fooled by Israeli complaints about attacks against innocents. The only innocents are the victims of Israel's military aggression and institutionalised racism. If Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish nation that oppresses non-Jews, then Nazi Germany had an equal right to exist as a German nation that oppressed non-Germans. If Israel has a right to use military force to expand its borders for "security" and lving space, Nazi Germany had an equal right to use military force to expand its borders for "security" and lebensraum.

That is, of course, unless one is a racist who believes that Jews deserve things that Gentiles (i.e., 99% of humanity) do not deserve.

No, but I sure can see how that phrase aptly describes the process by which Israelis became indistinguishable from the Nazis, except in the identity of their victims, of course.

Condoleezza Rice has described the plight of Lebanon as a part of the "birth pangs of a new Middle East" and said that Israel should ignore calls for a ceasefire.

"This is a different Middle East. It's a new Middle East. It's hard, We're going through a very violent time," the US secretary of state said.

"A ceasefire would be a false promise if it simply returns us to the status quo.

"Such a step would allow terrorists to launch attacks at the time and terms of their choosing and to threaten innocent people, Arab and Israeli, throughout the region."

She was speaking on Saturday after meeting with members of a United Nations team that had just returned from the region.
This sorta of talk confirms for me that is all a well laid plan between Israel and Washington to bring about a new Middle East in the image of the neo-conservative vision.
Not about the capture of two Israeli soldiers.
Anyone that cannot see the truth in her statement is blind to the truth. She is spelling right out for the world to hear.
