Fool me once...

How many times do they think they can parade this tired old tripe on the world stage before people start catching on to their shenanigans?

In all fairness, their strategy this time is somewhat better planned. No need to find any pesky old weapons of mass destruction. Tony and gang plan on dragging Iran before the U.N. Security Council for merely "resuming research on enriching uranium."

Nevermind that "[e]nriched uranium can be used both in nuclear weapons and power plants," that Iran "disavows any interest in nuclear weapons" and that it plans to use it for "civilian ends" which it "says is within its rights under the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty."

Lies all lies! The world will never believe Iran's raving leader, Ahmedinijad!

The Iranian leader [is vehemently anti-Western and] has repeatedly questioned Israel's right to exist in the Middle East.
Blasphemy! We're the superpowers! We have the moral high ground! And if you don't like it, we'll call in ALL our loans!

And, if that doesn't work, well, you're either with us or against us. But of course, "[t]he military option is always the last option" (which we always get to, when push comes to shove).

Apparently, George is unimpressed that Iran constructed its first civilian nuclear powerplant at Bushehr. He's convinced that oil-rich Iran has no need for nuclear power. But, Iranian officials insist that a nuclear power plant
"would be beneficial to the economy because it would free up more oil and gas resources for hard-currency sale abroad."
Now, we're getting somewhere! Not only is Iran's oil bourse slated to open in March 2006 - to trade oil in EUROS not dollars - but Iran's new civilian nuclear capacity will enable it to trade a MUCH larger volume of oil on the world market than it currently does posing an even greater threat to the petrodollar's hegemony.

That explains the recent printing frenzy at the FED, the discontinuance of M3 publication in March, and phony Tony's declared sense of urgency.
"We have to take immediate steps to protect the security of the world," the British leader told Parliament.
But, can their diabolical plan possibly work a second time? Stay tuned; this could get really ugly.

Yes, "We have to take immediate steps to protect the security of the world".

Among many others, this blog is doing a wonderful job.

US and UK have painted themselves into a corner here. Now, no "action" on Iran will not be acceptable. If the Iran situation gets any uglier, which it looks like it will, it might turn into very nasty.

I doubt very much that the Iran situation mightturn nasty. I've been tracking events for quite some time, and am firmly of the opinion that itwill turn nasty!

All indications are that a strike will take place on Iran within the next few months. The only questions that remain are:

Will the strike be carried out by Israel or the US acting alone or will it be a joint exercise?

...and...

Will there be a 'false-flag' terror attack on the US and/or Israel to justify the strike on Iran?

We are almost on the precipice of World War III....God help us!

Fantastic blog - keep up the good work sir!

You can't close the lid on Pandora's Box. That the rest of the world acquires this technology is inevitable. That someone will use it militarily, is highly probable. It will likely be us.

would it be possible that iran has brought this issue to a head with the intention of backing down before the security council in order to undercut any reason for an attack just befor it launchs its bourse in march? in that case the real reason an attack would be obvious.

An attack on Iran would slow the world economy to a grinding halt in a matter of days.

There isn't a single life in the western world that wouldn't feel it almost instantly.

Iran would (and should) defend themselves with everything they've got, they would stop the oil-flow immediately and encourage the Iraqi freedom-fighters to attack with all they've got.

And what of China?

They need that oil ...

Can WWIII even be avoided by now? I seriously doubt it, peak oil is taking it's toll already. God help us all.

Great blog.

If the U.S. aims to use their own troops for Iran, then yeah, I'd say expect another false-flag 'terrorist' attack. That's the only way they could rally enough support for a draft, and a draft is what it will take. Americans are fed up with Iraq, so it'll take something big to convince enough of them to go along with an attack on Iran.

Another, "Hey, we had to attack them first!" scenario wouldn't go over so well with Americans, I think, but these sociopathic neo-cons are so hell-bent that they just might do whatever it takes.

Part of me says, "No, they won't be that crazy..."--but hell, these are the people who are evil enough to fake 9-11, and it's worked so far, so why wouldn't they try it again? Without the specter of "communism" to scare the populace with, the rulers need another bogeyman to distract the masses, and of course they want it to be a long-term distraction. What's the point of calling it a "war on terror" unless you drag it on and on and on and on... And another false-flag terror attack would seem to fit their agenda perfectly.

Good post Q,

on the theme of a "false-flag' terror attack",
it might do to think about the possibility that weapons of mass destruction were found in IRAQ, and using them to bring about a very nasty situation.
Let's all hope and pray that this will blow over, the bourse will open and nothing much will become of it.
Sometimes unrealistic optimism is the only key to holding a grip on sanity.

Interesting blog.
My 2 pennies: considering that BB (Bush Blair) & Company are desparate, an attack on Iran will at the very least be attempted. It should *not* be surprising that US and/or Israeli joint operations (and possibly a bigger coalition) would use some sort of nuclear weapons (either depleted uranium or mini-nukes) to attempt to destroy any particular nuclear facilities in Iran, and then claim that they used non-nuclear weapons and the nuclear contaminants originated from the nuclear facilities themselves.
Quiz: Who in the past has officially used nuclear weapons on civilian populations? Does "Hiroshima" and "Nagasaki" give you a clue? And who continues to use alpha-grade (depleted uranium) nuclear weapons routinely today? And who uses white-phosphorous chemicals (on combatants) in the battle-field today?
It's only a matter of time until USA/Istrael undo themselves as super-powers in their respective regions, especially now that the ideology of Islam is reviving all over the Muslim world (in opposition to Secular
Capitalism) to re-establish the world-wide Islamic Khalifate.

The late Joe Vialls speculated that the zionists would take out a US carrier as the spark. I thought some radiological event on American soil would be needed to open up with the nukes.
In any event the oil exchange will NOT be allowed to happen. Between now and the strikes, Iran will be faced with one impossible demand after another, and this heavy breathing about war will only escalate by the filth in MSM, until we get hit with the synthetic terror.
