was it WORTH it?

Was the freedom to express contempt for another's beliefs worth the pain and indignation suffered by hundreds of millions of people?

Was it worth the loss of diplomatic relations?

Was it worth the losses suffered by entire sectors of Danish commerce?

Was it worth the lives lost amid protests?

* * *

Was refusing to apologize for the pain and indignation caused by another's contempt worth the loss of diplomatic relations?

Was it worth the losses suffered by entire sectors of Danish commerce?

Was it worth the lives lost amid protests?

* * *

Was exacting punishment from those who show indifference to your most cherished beliefs worth the loss of diplomatic relations?

Was it worth tarnishing Islam's image around the world?

Was it worth the lives lost amid protests?

* * *

Was protecting private property against a population inflamed by indignation worth the lives lost amid protest?
The worst of the violence was outside Bagram, the main U.S. base in Afghanistan, with Afghan police firing on some 2,000 protesters as they tried to break into the heavily guarded facility, said Kabir Ahmed, the local government chief.

Two of the demonstrators were killed and five were injured, while eight police were also hurt.

* * *

In the Indian capital of New Delhi, riot police fired tear gas and water cannons to disperse hundreds of students from Jamia University, who chanted slogans and burned a Danish flag.

* * *

Palestinian police in Gaza City used batons to beat back stone-throwing protesters who gathered outside the European Commission building.

* * *

[Meanwhile] There was widespread criticism of the failure of the Lebanese security forces, which appeared to lose control of the streets for about three hours. But [Lebanese Interior Minister Hassan Sabei] defended their actions.

"Things got out of hand when elements that had infiltrated into the ranks of the demonstrators broke through security shields," he told reporters. "The one remaining option was an order to shoot, but I was not prepared to order the troops to shoot Lebanese citizens."
If you were a police officer faced with a crowd of your own citizens, enraged because your prophet was maligned, what would you do? Would it affect your decision if it was not your prophet that was maligned?

If you were an Ambassador of Denmark how would respond to demands for an apology?

If you were Muslim, how would you react if you were dirt poor, frustrated, and oppressed and the people who you feel are responsible for your destitution attack and malign the only thing that keeps you from taking your own life each morning?

How would you react if you were Muslim and lived in middle class suburbia, with a decent job, looking forward to more of the same for yourself and your children in the future?

What would you do as a newspaper editor? as a blogger? as the President?

To answer these questions you must first determine what you VALUE.

Once you determine what's valuable to you, decide whether you're prepared to trade one thing that's valuable to you for something else that's valuable to you.

Then see if you're prepared to trade what's valuable to you for what's valuable to someone else.

Everything is relative. And as long as people insist on maintaining their own SUBJECTIVE values at the expense of someone else's we'll be forever embroiled in conflict.

Do unto others as you would have others do unto you is the best way to start answering the question 'is it worth it?'

Was it worth it for the Saudis to cause a propoganda war? That's what they did. It's important to note how minor the cartoons were in comparison to the reaction. This is not an accident.

Considering Jews control the mass media, we know the purpose for the Muhammed cartoons--to stoke the Orwellian "perpetual war for perp. peace," same as the Abu Ghraib prison photos.

Very simply, we need a Constantinian Christian revolution to eliminate and neutralize the Judeo-"Sadduceans" in accord with New Testament (NT) Conspiracy theory-analytic-template.

"Was it worth it?"--well, consider it was all essentially just deliberate incitement of poor people, the Islamics, so much harried and oppressed by the Judeo-"Sadducean" led West, truth be told. Now Mossad and CIA can continue recruiting likely dupes to serve as frontmen, cut-outs, and fall-guys for acts of terrorism really perpetrated by Mossad and CIA. The strategy is really quite simple. Ck Judicial-inc.biz.

David Ray Griffin has come out now with an excellent essay, copious footnotes, proving why the official 9-11 accounts CANNOT be believed. The tower bldgs were provably demolished, esp. with the testimony out now since Aug 2005 of hundreds of witness, esp. NYC firemen, who all report numerous demolition explosions. Griffin's exposition is absolutely devastating.

The Danish are saying the Syrians didnt hold to their international obligations by letting a crowd burn their Embassy in Damascus...forgetting that they shit on Islam on the front page of their Nazi newspapers.

Fuck them.

The Brits want to prosecute anyone who incited violence at the protest in London last week, while they themselves are guilty of massive war crimes.

Fuck them!

F the Zionists.

Islam is Peace.

"Say We believe in God and what is revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and I`saac and Jacob and the Tribes, and what was entrusted to Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them and to Him we have surrendered."

(Quran 3: 84)

This has nothing to do with "Zionists." It was Danes who had no affiliation with Israel who drew the cartoons.

The funny thing is that y'all are using your freedom of speech to bash "zionists" and jews, and yet cry fowl when simple cartoons are drawn.

Talk about glaring hypocrisy.

Was it worth it?

HELL YES - if anything, this merely highlights the incredible double standards that are existing in the world. The extremists that rioted and pillaged after looking at DRAWINGS only proved the drawings right. It was worth it to take away the fake veneer of these people, and exposing them for what they really are.

There's Jew-girl again, "Miss R," with her habitual lying: Jews and their accomplices essentially control the mass Jews-media throughout the West, including Denmark--AS EVERYTHING MUST CONFORM TO THE BASIC MONETARY SYSTEM, this again so heavily controlled by Jews, esp. the Rothschild heirs. The "Euro" is a fractional-reserve system no less than the American Fed.

That's the brilliance of these blogs, good comrades, this way we can catch these Jews lying red-handed, nearly instantly. Excellent work by all bloggers herein--including u too "Miss R," rapidly becoming a mere caricature of a Jew, lying, lying, lying, in accord with ur religion of lies and lying. Tell us more, Jew. Apollonian

Apollonian,

why can't you say what you have to say WITHOUT personal attacks?

Is that too much to ask?

Why must you abuse your privilege to speak and be heard?

Why can't we make the most of this medium while we have it, to reason with one another civilly, without resort to insults and personal attacks?

At Monday, February 06, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Well, is it true or not Jews are so involved in Jews-media, including Denmark, as well as throughout the West, no less than they are with fractional-reserve "banking" (actually counterfeiting)?

Given the (above) premise, "Miss R's" assertion Jews aren't involved in the deliberate provocations against Musselmen is a lie as I assert, in all factuality.

Tell me qrswave, why not let ur public be the judge and leave off with ur pathetic complaints? Let what is said speak for itself.

Ur complaint amounts to same thing as murder defendant in court trial complaining he is being personally attacked, his reputation slandered.

Why not let the Jews defend themselves? Apollonian

Strange that the dozen cartoons appeared on 30 Sep 05 the first time, and no reaction other than a couple pissed off people.

Swing ahead four months and the the raving lunatic Fleming Rose has the cartoons (which he commissioned to begin with) appear again, and in other places in Europe -- and shazzam if this ALL happens at once -- what a frickin' coincidence, alright -- all editors said "we didn't know they were gonna run them."

And we're all dumb-ass enough to believe this.

And of course, Rose's hero, the snake in the grass called Daniel Pipes, is laughing all the while, since Rose visited Pipes in Philadelphia in Oct 05 -- was this to figure out "crissakes, it didn't even make a stink -- how can we stoke it up more, ol' Muslim hater?"

Pipes' father was the moron who said in the late 1970's when he was in a much more important position than he ever should have been, the bastard: "Do you know HOW we know the Russians have invisible weapons? Because we can't see them. So we must push our cause higher (more nukes, etc.). Now that's a hell of a roll model!

Apollonian, a murder defendant is innocent UNLESS proven guilty.

Anon 2:46pm, very informative comment.

I know it's hard to do, and I believe your assertions, as Daniel Pipes is notorious for his rabid Islamophobia. But, whenever possible it's good to include links or references to your facts, for those who aren't familiar. Although, certainly all anyone needs to know about Daniel Pipes is available online.

Thank God for the internet.

Well after I waded trhough here, good conversation and interesting to read. I too wish it could be done with a tad more civility, but its mercifully not my blog!

The post asks some good questions.

The purpose of that cartoon is to get both sides stirred up for the coming war. This way the Western media can show footage of Muslims burning Christian neighborhoods and blame the Muslims for not being used to free-speech (implying they're backward and that we are the shining land of the free)--all leading up to the point, "Boy, we've gotta go into Iran and stop these CRAZY Muslims before they nuke us all!!"

These neo-con fuckers were crazy enough to arrange 9-11. They want to complete their plan. A New American Century indeed---if America's left standing...

Then it's worth it. Stop burning embassies, bring on the cartoons. Do not use threats of violence, explicit or implied, to control others.

Here are the two names that started this furore

Flemming Rose - the man who commissioned the cartoons and the cultural editor of Jyllands-Posten. He just happens to be a friend of Daniel Pipes, travelled through China with Bill Clinton, is a solid supporter of the neoconservatives and is also supposedly a firm supporter of zionism.

Jyllands-Posten - is the paper that first published the cartoons. Not being able to speak Dutch I was unable to identify ownership and editorial control of what this paper publishes but interestingly this wikipedia entry regarding the cartoons talks about misinformation regarding ownership of the paper and refutes several stories but it does not refute jewish or zionist ownership/editorial control (I have read this ownership claim on several blogs recently and find it interesting that it is not being refuted as misinformation in wikipedia).
If anyone knows more about the provable religious, and/or state affiliations regarding this paper please let me know at
digitalspy@gmail.com

Thanks

DS

"Considering Jews control the mass media, we know the purpose for the Muhammed cartoons (...) " - ignorant.

One of the most outspoken Danish opponents of the cartoons is the editor of the newspaper Politiken. He's Jewish, like his predecessor, who came up with the idea that we should build a mosque in Copenhagen as a way of apologizing for the cartoons.

I agree with you on this. It's illogical to make generalizations that all Jews are against all Muslims, or vice versa.

But, to say "bring on the cartoons" reminds me of a certain president I know who ate his words shortly after he made them.

Also, do you feel the same about economic threats as you do about violent ones?

digital spy, thanks for sharing your research!

Hey "rumskib," who's ignorant? Ck natall.com, frontpage, very bottom, middle column, "Who Rules America?"--where u will find out some facts to perhaps save u fm ur lack of wisdom and knowledge, not to mention lack of self-respect.

And I hardly see how "building a Mosque" does any good for Danes when it was Jews who started the present turmoil.

So if u're a Dane, u want to take a Jew's advice--in order to do what?--make fools of urselves in building a Mosque? I thought Denmark was Christian; what do u need with a Mosque?--are u some kind of a mental retard? Don't u have any pride?

I presume most Danes aren't as dumb as u. Apollonian
