Olmert - "The claim that we lost is unfounded"
As usual, the truth emerges.
It might have been said that 'Israel lost' had their goal been to eliminate Hizbullah. But, then you would've had to accept the absurd notion that Hizbullah was an existential 'threat' to Israel to begin with, which it is not, and never was.
From the outset, Israel's goal was to destroy Lebanon.
The notion that Hizbullah 'defeated' Israel is only entertained to take the sting out of the appalling scale of death and destruction wrought by Israel's unprovoked, premeditated assault on a defenseless Arab population.
"What did you think, that there would be a war and nothing would happen to our soldiers," Olmert asked the committee. "The claim that we lost is unfounded. Half of Lebanon is destroyed; is that a loss?"I wish I could say that I'm shocked, but I'm not.
This is typical of a government that sees nothing wrong with maintaining a Jewish majority by either killing or expelling everyone else.

Yup. It seems that 9/11 is all about realestate in the Holy land...
forgive the edit - I wanted to clarify myself.
It is sickening that it is legal for white people to be mass murders as long as the people they are murdering are non-white. We must stop the racist terrorists who seek to murder all the non-white people including children.
The Israelis have now admitted using banned phosphorus shells and carpeting Lebanon with over 1.2 million cluster bombs". And this is not just the crazed rantings of rabid "anti-Semites"; it is reported by Haaretz.
So much for the theories that Israel was merely defending itself by targeting "terrorists" and buildings "suspected of containing weapons", or the Lebanese were faking photographs to make it look as if they'd been attacked.
