making history through the internet

Amy Goodman hosts a televised debate between Dylan Avery and Jason Bermas (producers of Loose Change) and David Dunbar and his side-kick, the cranky James Meigs (Popular Mechanics).

Regardless of whether or not you believe their theory that a cruise missile hit the Pentagon, considering how young they are, these guys did an outstanding job of keeping the focus on the issues despite their opponents' constant stream of character assaults. Truly impressive. It's no wonder they are so hugely popular.

America needs more courageous and upstanding youth like these young men. They managed, through courage and conviction, to get their message across to the entire world on a shoe-string budget and against all odds. They're making history through the internet. And so can you.

Keep the faith - I see victory on the horizon.

yes, I noticed that. Nice catch!

Did you also notice that Meigs' voice was cracking - he was sh*tting a brick. He expected to be made a fool of.

Also notice how the PM slime try to equate 911 truth to holyco$t "denial" and their reaction when the LC boys laughed in their face! Priceless!!

These guys did an excellent job with Loose Change and really stood their ground against the pm guys. At one point Meigs mentions that Loose Change relied too heavily on testimony given too soon after the event, meaning that not enough time had passed to fully verify what really happened, and that the truth would become more apparent gradually afterwards. That's not how it works. In the court of law they seek out witnesses, eyewitnesses. This are basics. You seek out those who have witnessed the events or those that are on the ground observing the events unfold, or those who are witness to the crime scene. These guys might have pulled the wool over the publics eyes with regards to previous operations, but sorry no cookie for you on this one. It's funny that they mentioned this because I recall on 9-11 Senator Orin Hatch denouncing OBL and accusing him of being behind, WHILE THE TOWERS WERE STILL STANDING AND BURNING. WTF? No investigation? What liars. It was nice how Burmis called the Meigs a liar to his face. Meigs didn't deny he was liar either.

off topic but ive always felt the moon landings were fake, ive nothing to back this up, just something ive always felt

That's because women in Iran aren't allowed to learn the sciences.

SOT is ignorant as well as racist. A very dangerous combination. Iranian women are active in all aspects of Iranian society such as the government, education, health care, media, and even the military. I would say that Iranian women have a much more dignified and respeceted position in society than most Western countries.

Fact: No astronomers or astrophysicists support the moon landing hoax theories (kind of like how no structural engineers back up the controlled demo WTC theories).

Fact: Women in Afghanistan, before it was liberated by allied forces, weren't even allowed to read.

Leslie made a statement that could only be made from an extreme state of scientific ignorance. I made a logical assumption based on known facts.

If women in Iran are indeed allowed to learn the sciences, then I humbly stand corrected. The fact remains however, that Leslie as had little or no such education.

Fact: Neil Armstrong, followed by Buzz Aldrin, set foot on the Moon on July 20th, 1969. Any attempt to suggest otherwise is literally ignorant by it's definition.

If you have a problem with this, you can take it up with Buzz.

I don't agree! The best time to see what really went on is when it's fresh in people's minds. Later, though media manipulation or other stimulus, the meaning changes. That was pretty slick of Meigs to bring up and factually incorrect.

Anyone getting as much publicity and free plugs as these Loose Change kids are suspect as being false-front, not to mention the heavy funding from a member of the Simon family, they're very close to Larry Silverstein as well from what I've read of their business dealings. Vladimir Lenin said something along the lines of "the best way to control your opposition is to lead it yourself". There's *always* opposition to anything, and they always consider and prepare for it. Decentralization and Leaderless Resistance is really the way to go, as they make sure they have their paws infiltrating if not creating everything, as a natural duty. Take what you need and leave the rest alone, people are too often more occupied with pissing matches rather than really digging into and exposing the enemy, and their operations - 9.11 included.
