Who hijacked my religion - Part II

Somebody out there is very busy hijacking religions to further their own political agenda - specifically Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. I wonder who it is.
"Judaism and Zionism [are] really incompatible. [They are] diametric opposites.

Judaism, in short is a religion, it's a faith from Abraham, the forefathers . . . the great grandchildren of Abraham went and stood on Mount Sinai and accepted to make a bond with God that they will listen to whatever God says, they will follow His teachings . . .

We have to emulate God. We have to be compassionate, do goodness, be holy, be devout to God, and so forth and so on as the teachings of the Torah, which you all are most probably well acquainted..."

-- Rabbi Dovid Weiss
This of course is dedicated to a couple of misguided visitors who I will not name, but who I humbly advise should listen and learn from Rabbi Weiss. He just might save you your souls. Until then, go away.

Thanks for the links to the truly beautiful rabbis of Neturei Karta, and other groups like them.

And thank you for your earlier posting of the video by Ali, a true muslim with an endearingly honest and open manner.

Here is another site aimed at elucidating the unity between the great religions of the world:

I took time to write a major entry on the 5th anniversary of 9/11 by allowing the American men of the past do the talking on the inherent danger of reckless & despotic global hegemony.

Exhaustingly wordy in length, but may be worth the read on Eisenhower's in-depth prophecy as well as USMC Major General's excerpted speech declaring American-instigated wars as a racket in the name of exploitative capitalism & imperial hegemony.

Conscientious Jews, like this entry on the condemnation of Jewish fascism by the group, must stand up and speak out against the racist, dishonest & amoral counterfeit whose depraved deeds only exacerbate the rise of anti-Semite sentiment in the first place.

Another excellent find qrs. Looks like the closer you get to the nerve the more 'sensitive' some people become.

Don't let them get to you, it will get worse before it gets better. Keep up the good work. They operate from a position of making people fear and hate but we overcome by love and education. The three faiths originate from the same source and it is up to us to see beyond the differences to the similarities.

I would like to say that we should move beyond religion towards a more rational contemplation of life, death, and existence.

Religions are inherently irrational and destructive, and they are intrisically opposed to one another in that each has exlusive claims to truth.

Exclusive truth means that it is the only truth, and an other claiming truth that is not the truth you know are to be violently destroyed. Especially, but not uniquely, if you are a practicing Muslim. We need only to consult the Koran to prove this:

"Jihad is your duty under any ruler, be he godly or wicked.

A single endeavor in Allah's Cause in the forenoon or in the afternoon is better than the world and whatever is in it.

A day and a night fighting on the frontier is better than a month of fasting and prayer.

Nobody who dies and finds good from Allah (in the hereafter) would wish to come back to this world even if he were given the whole world and whatever is in it, except the martyr who, on seeing the superiority of martyrdom, would like to come back to the world and get killed again.

He who dies without having taken part in a campaign dies in a kind of unbelief.

Paradise is in the shadow of swords."

Each statement above is a separate "hadith." You can search a database of these at www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/reference/searchhadith.html

Anything good that you have gotten from your religion, especially spirituality, can be acheived by rational means.

The idea of God and exclusive truth are irrational. We need to move away from religion and towards a more rational basis for morality, ethics, and existence. Religions have many similarities, but that is not to say that they're all really talking about "one true God." They share certain similarities because each religion is made up of archetypal concepts, common to all human socities.

The answer to the world's problems, most of the wars, the killing, the irrational policy, is to recognize religion for the destructive, irrational superstition that it is, and to abandon it and evolve as a species.

Religion and world peace to any extent are mutually exclusive.
