Worth watching.

Patrick Buchanan is one of the few US political figures that has it right. He's been saying the neocons are out of control in Washington and leading the USA over the edge into the abiss. We need more politicians that have the balls to state the truth and take the risks that go with it. Even so, I thought that he was guarded and chose his words very carefully. Yet he delivered an accurate message.

yes, I think he took full advantage of the opportunity to excoriate them without putting himself too much at risk.

Indeed measured resistence by as many people possible is the way to go.

Buchanan can surprise at times. I like him. I’ve been agreeing and disagreeing with him for years. More important for me, I haven’t watched Hardball in a long time. It was a halfway decent program at first. After 911 they fell in line blowing kisses at Old Glory; I couldn’t take it anymore. Maybe Hardball got its balls back. Thanks for the clip.

Buchanan is an opportunist who seizes upon any chance to criticize those in power. If he was in power, we would have the same level of fascism now, but it would come in a Pat Buchanan flavor. Alex Jones is the same way, with his immigrant bashing and global warming denial.

Both are useful idiots at times, though. If only Alex Jones learned how to confirm a story before breaking it...

Pat Buchanan, and I have some personal experience of him, is not an opportunist, he really believes what he says.

And I would suggest you check your definition of fascism -- Buchanan is about as anti-fascist as they come.

He's an anti-interventionist, a proponent of small government, and an opponent of the military/industrial complex, which is the opposite of being fascist.

If Pat Buchanan doesn't know about 9-11, which is unlikely, or if he still just doesn't get it, then he's really dancing in the dark about Israel, while the Israelis are still dancing in broad daylight at the World Trade Center. We are now paying a dear price for not yet having come to dead reckoning on this account. Until this kingpin is finally knocked out, there will be no real accountability for any of the crimes which now threaten to consume us. "Israel is Stupid" indeed, he only shows his own stupidity of how Israel could pretend to be so stupid as to think they could "pull it" off, and then still get away with it.
